Estyn M. "Bob" Chalmers

April 2 1913 - April 1995

During World War II Bob worked at Vultee Aircraft in Downey California helping to build the BT-13 Basic Trainer aircraft. In the early 1960's he went to work at Caltech's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena California. While there working and supervising in the prototype machine shop he built parts for JPL's space craft from the Ranger program through the Cassini project.
