    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

I spent 3 tours in Vietnam starting in 1965 as a Special Project Officer for the Commander of In-Country Forces, 2nd Air Division, Saigon. One project that I was responsible for was the planning, establishing and coordinating the In-Country Night Air Missions. I also briefed and flew on the first strike destroying a Viet Cong supply barge.
I was later assigned to help Tunisia establish an Air Force. We
wrote the training syllabus utilizing the F-86 aircraft and established training procedures. Additionally, we supervised the construction of Air-to Ground Range and established an Air to Air Gunnery Range - all while instructing classes & flying missions. Our mission was successfully completed and turned over to the Tunisians within one year.
