Eugene Theodore Pearson was born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1944. He graduated from East High School in Des Moines and from Sioux Falls College in South Dakota. Married in 1965, they have two children and two grandchildren. Eugene has worked as a social worker for both Wyandotte County and the Osawatomie State Hospital in the state of Kansas. He has also worked for Midwest Airline, and is now a teacher's assistant at a local high school in Kansas City. Eugene has always been interested in aviation and space. He has been a member of the Airline History Museum in Kansas City, Missouri, where they have a Martin 404 on display, a DC3 that is being restored, and the only flying Lockheed Super G. Constellation (Connie) that he has flown on to air shows. In addition to family, Eugene has many interests, but aviation and space is a passion that is at the top of his list.
