    Floyd H. Criswell, B.S.E.E., University of Kentucky; M.S., University of Southern California, was a member of the McDonnell Douglas team testing the spacecraft and launching the original 7 Mercury and project Gemini astronauts from Cape Canaveral, Florida, from May 1961 through Nov. 1966.
    In early 1967 through 1969, he worked the spacecraft electrical systems for the Manned Orbiting Laboratory (MOL) at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.
    From 1969 until retirement in 1998, primarily as test conductor, he tested and launched classified military spacecraft for McDonnell Douglas and served as systems safety specialist with Lockheed Martin at Sunnyvale, California, and Vandenberg AFB, California.
