    Born August 22, 1934 Camden, SC. 1957 Distinguished Military Graduate at The Citadel, The Military College of SC.
    USAF 1957-1963. Assigned to 444th FIS Charleston AFB, SC
    1959-1963 Flew F-86-L and F-101-B. Joined South Carolina Air National Guard 1963 and retired 1991. Served as line pilot, flight commander, Chief of Operational Plans, Chief of Command Post, Squadron Operations Officer, Squadron Commander (IS7TFS). Deputy Commander for Group Operations, Group Commander (169TFG) and as Commander and Chief of Staff of the South Carolina Air National Guard. Flew the F-102-A, A-7-D and F-16-A.
    Retired as Brig. Gen. with over 5,000 hours total flying time of which over 4,000 hours were in jet fighters.
    Present occupation: Vice President Investments UBS/Paine Webber.
