Francis T. "Frank" Swan worked for General Electric Missile and Space Division as a quality engineer on the early, highly classified CORONA and SAMOS Air Force space reconnaissance programs and managed the Systems Test Lab for the KH-7 GAMBIT program. In later years, Frank worked in quality assurance for both United Technologies' USBI Company that refurbished the Space Shuttle's solid rocket boosters and Rockwell International on the Space Shuttle orbiters.
