    Frank Began Flying in 1940. One of the first planes he flew was a 40 hp cub with a single ignition, no brakes, no lights or tail skid.

    He served in active duty in the marines from March 1943 - June 1946. He flew Jet Fighters in the Marine Reserves.

    He has authored two books:
    “As I Recall... Craftsbury Commons, Vermont”,
    and “Memories: A Collection”.
