My father, Frank H. Johnson, Jr. dreamed of flying ever since he was a little boy. When he finally purchased his first plane flying seemed to consume his whole life. Everywhere you looked he had magazines, pictures & models of airplanes. He even started a company that built airplane hangars. Unfortunately, my father died while flying. If he knew he would die flying he would still have flown. One thing I learned from my father is that being a pilot isn’t just a hobby or a job, it’s who you are.
