Received AIAA design medal for development of the delta wing for supersonic flight – first operational aircraft was F-102.
As Chief Engineer and subsequently President of the Ft. Worth Division and Convair Aerospace Division of General Dynamics Corp., was responsible for development of the B-58, F-111, F-16 and the Cruise missile.
