On December 17, 2003 our great nation will celebrate the Centennial of Flight honoring the amazing accomplishments of Wilbur and Orville Wright. Since that historic day, many pilots have strived to achieve excellence in their profession but few have achieved the very top of their profession while also inspiring and instructing new pilots. Fred W. Krieg is one such outstanding career pilot and instructor. Fred will be present at Kitty Hawk for the Centennial celebration to honor the Wright Brothers and aviation in America.

    Among his accomplishments:
    - Fred Krieg holds the highest level of every category and class rating available under Federal Aviation Regulations for American pilots
    - Fred holds all 7 of the available FAA flight instructor ratings at the Gold Seal level, the highest level awarded by the FAA
    - He has trained over 1,000 students to fly in every type of FAA-certified aircraft
    - Fred has given over 350 flight tests as an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner
    - He has logged over 20,000 flight hours
    - He retired as a Captain from United Airlines after 33 years of safe flying

Fred continues to inspire people to learn how to fly and become accomplished pilots by being an excellent and concerned instructor
