Harold Posey was a contract lawyer for NASA from 1967 to 1968. During this time he worked on the contracts for the Saturn V moon rocket. He later went on to serve as Legislative and Staff Director for Congressman Jack Brinkley of Georgia, where he continued to support manned spaceflight. He passed away in 2002 in his home of Columbus, Georgia, after years in private practice. He remained a friend of America's Space Program to the end.
