    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

A licensed private pilot, I served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Air crewman, enlisted near the end of WWII.
While in college, I enlisted in the USAF Reserve, was called up for Korea but then sent back to Medical School which I finished in 1954.
I was then called to active duty, received my Flight Surgeon wings, and was assigned to Langley AFB, Tactical Air Command Headquarters, where I was privileged to be Base Flight Surgeon and participated with the selected physicians in selecting the original astronauts for the NASA space program.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
