    October 1, 1955 Married LaVerne Dunbar in Tulsa Oklahoma. Raised three sons with his wife LaVerne (James, Douglas, and Kenneth). Greatly enjoyed visiting with relatives and friends often while traveling around the world on business and pleasure. After retiring from the airline business performed volunteer work for a crisis hotline, the American Airlines CR Smith Museum and data analysis for the Arlington, Texas police department. Throughout his life he enjoyed fishing, with the last favorite spot being Lake Texoma fishing for striped bass.
