My father served in the US Army in World War I as an aviator/aerial photographer/graphics illustrator and was stationed at the Army's Air Signal Corps Headquarters, Air Service Flying School, Gerstner Field, Lake Charles, Louisiana, 1917-1918.

Always proud to be an "American" and proud of this country's air and space accomplishments. Lived to see America be the "first" to put a man on the Moon.

Born: 12/4/1897. Passed on: 1/15/1984 at age 86.
