    Gerald Prado is from Maracaibo, Venezuela, where he attended URBE University and received a Bachelor of Science in Electronic engineering with telecommunications concentration, a diploma in Strategic Management, and a Master's Degree in Marketing Management. He also holds a Doctor of Management Degree (Yacambú University, Venezuela), and a variety of Certificates, including an Information and Communication Technologies Accessibility Certificate awarded by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil; an International Business Management Certificate from Georgetown University; and an Executive Diploma in Data and Communication from Harvard University.

    Committed to the field of space research technologies, Gerald also co-founded and served as President of the Board of VenSpace Organization from 2009 to 2011, Venezuela's first private organization focused on Research & Development Technologies in communication and space exploration. Gerald?€™s specific expertise in communications has permitted him to hold a variety of positions with International Organizations headquartered in Washington, DC. In his spare time, Gerald works as a volunteer at the US National Air and Space Museum. Gerald also speaks three of the most widely spoken languages on the Americas continent: English, Spanish and Portuguese.
