    Gilbert C. Greenway (my father) was a test pilot during World War II, at Grumman Aviation in Bethpage, Long Island, New York. He flew Hell Cats,Tiger Cats, and Wild Cats.

    When the Air and Space Museum had a room of photos of test pilots, one of the pictures was of my father, flying, in the cockpit. (I think the plane was a Hell Cat.)
