Started my career in Buffalo, NY working for Curtiss-Wright Corp. in June 1939. After several years went to Langley Field, VA with NACA where I got involved with helicopters. After the war I went with CAA and took nationwide leadership in development of civil helicopter regulations and flight test progress. I subsequently formed Devore Aviation Corp. which is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico and which does business on a worldwide basis. One specialty is both interior and exterior lighting. I am a Fellow of AIAA and a member of many aviation organizations.
