Enlisted Army Air Forces Nashville, TN June 1, 1942. Served with 12th Air Force Troop Carrier Squadrons. Piloted aircraft carrying personnel, cargo, munitions, equipment, prisoners of war, and paratroopers.
Saw combat in the Balkans, Po Valley, and Apennines. Served the Military Attaché, Athens, Greece until Dec 1946. Separated Feb 1947.
