B-24 Pilot in World War II in Mediterranean Theatre. Flew from Italy with the 15th Air Force, 459th Bomb Group. 37 actual missions but credited with 50 missions. Flew 2nd mission over Ploesti.
Upon discharge attended and graduated Purdue University with a BSME. Continued education at Stanford University and graduated MBA.
Employed by Standard Oil company and subsequently by United Air Lines. Flew DC-3, Caravelle, Convair 340, DC-4, DC-6, DC-7, DC-8 and DC-10 aircraft in passenger service. After 30 years retired in 1983.
Member of the Air Line Pilots Association 1953 to present RUPA Membership.
