    Mr. Nassiff was employed at the NASA Johnson Spacecraft Center for 24 years and was involved in the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Apollo/Soyus, Skylab, Shuttle, and Space Station Programs as a Design Engineer, System analysis, Project Engineer, and Study Manager. In the Gemini Program he designed a ground-base Simulator and trained the seven original astronauts to fly the Gemini Spacecraft from reentry to touchdown.

    During the Apollo Program, he designed a high fidelity ground- base Lunar Landing Training Vehicle Simulator and trained astronauts in preparation to flying the free-flying Lunar Landing Training Vehicle. This training facilitated flying the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM) to the surface of the moon.

    In the early part of the Shuttle Design Program, Mr. Nassiff let a team of engineers in designing, in-house, the Shuttle Aft Crew Station and integration of payloads into the Space Shuttle. He also participated in a study to indentify the number of crew required and their responsibilities to fly and operate the Space Shuttle.

    While in the Advanced Development Office, he was the NASA Study Manager on a number of in-house and contracted studies to identify Astronaut support equipment needed to construct a Space Station on orbit. He was also the NASA Study Manager of a contracted study by Boeing Aerospace to design an orbital Space Station. This study led to the proposal for the design of the current International Space Station.

    While in the International Space Station Office, Mr. Nassiff worked with the International partners to facilitate integration of their participation in the U.S. Space Station Program. During his career at NASA, he has received a number of awards and written a number of technical papers and presented them at AIAA meetings.
