    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Roger F. Rusk

Gordon L. Rusk was a pioneer in developing the aircraft component overhaul industry and set the standards for what commercial airlines now call "Full Service Product Support". Specializing in Hydraulic Flight Control Systems, Gordon Rusk started in the early 1960s with Bertea Corporation, and later with Parker Hannifin Corporation, to establish a network of worldwide FAA approved repair facilities to effectively support the growing fleets of airlines serving the world. Long before it became popular in the 1980s and 1990s, the Parker Bertea facilities were providing 24-hour AOG service, guaranteed exchange programs, and quick repairs to the world's airlines. In his later years, Gordon Rusk founded his own family-run FAA repair facility, Kennco-Magnaghi Logistics Corporation, where he and his three sons provided his "Full Service Product Support" to commuter airlines and helicopter operators worldwide. Gordon Rusk was a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and served several terms as Chairman of the A-6 Hydraulic Committee. He was also a lifetime member of the SR-71 Blackbird Society.
