Gregory Alan Doorakian , a longtime resident of Stamford and Greenwich, died Tuesday April 19 at Stamford Hospital. He died after a long illness,
He was born April 27, 1940 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the son of Gregory and Elizabeth Doorakian. Greg was a graduate of East Coast Tech School, where he graduated as an airline mechanic. He spent his lifetime in the American Airlines & Eastern Airlines and in his later years as electronic system specialist with the FAA in White Plains, NY
Greg served his country with the US Army Corps of Engineer . He was a ham\radio operator enthusiast, a collector of model airplanes and an avid bird watcher.
