    Harlan K. (Rex) Inglis 1917-1978 During World War II he was assigned to the 548th Squadron of the 385th Bombardment Group of the 8th Air Force. He completed 29 missions in B-17 Flying Fortresses over Europe. Rex received the Distinguished Flying Cross with one Oak Leaf Cluster, the Air medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, the World War II victory Medal with two Stars, and the Euro African Mideastern Theater Campaign Medal. Upon his return to the United States, he became a pilot for United Airlines, his career for the next 30 years.
