    CITATION:
Airman Second Class HAROLD F. DOUCETTE distinguished himself by extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight as gunner of a B-26 attack bomber with the 3rd Bombardment Wing, Light, Fifth Air Force, on the night of 24th February 1953. Airman DOUCETTE displayed outstanding airmanship and crew coordination while flying armed reconnaissance over the enemy's main supply routes north of Kumchon, Korea. In the target area an enemy supply convoy was and immediately attacked despite anti-aircraft fire and hazardous terrain. Aggressive attacks upon the supply convoy were continued after the flak position was attacked and destroyed. These highly effective efforts resulted in the destruction by fire and explosion of seven (7) supply laden vehicles destined for military use against the United Nations, thus directly aiding the cause of the United Nations’ Interdiction Program. By his courage and devotion to duty, Airman DOUCETTE has brought great credit upon himself, his organization and the United States Air Force.
