    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Mr. Harold Edwards

Army Air Corps Bombsight Technician 1944-46. Most of my time was spent in training stateside. I graduated from the Advanced Repairman’s School the day after VJ Day! I was posted to Europe immediately assigned to a Ninth Air Force B-26 Marauder Bomb Squadron. Since I had the wrong specialty at the wrong time and place I finished the war as PFC. I then finished my Aeronautical Engineering Degree at Texas A & M in 1948 and went to Chance Vought Aircraft as a Junior Designer. In my forty years I advanced to the position of a Senior Engineering Manager. I did major portions of supersonic naval fighters. Led space projects, manned and unmanned, battlefield missiles and finally overseeing five technologies on Vought’s portion of the B-2 Stealth Bomber.
