VP-14 (PBY-5A); at Espiritu Santo Is. and Guadalcanal Bombing/Patrol Squadron VB-102 (PB4Y 1); Returned April, 1944 to San Francisco, Naval Air Transport VR-4, VR-12 and VR-8; Honorable Discharge with Decorations April, 1946.
