    A Graduate of Auburn University, and a charter Member of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, Mr. Craft began his NASA career in 1958as part of the Von Braun rocket Team at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. Mr. Craft participated in the Saturn, Apollo, Skylab, and Space Shuttle Programs. He was manager of the First Spacelab Mission, a major international science mission. He later became Manager of the Payload Projects Office and was responsible for over twenty Spacelab related flights. He received NASA’s highest two awards; the Distinguished Service Medal and Leadership Medal. Mr. Craft retired from NASA in January 1998.
