Henry Johnson was a First Lieutenant in the United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War. He was a B17G (Flying Fortress) Pilot in the 493rd Bomb Group of the Eighth Air Force. He flew a combat tour from DeBach, England on deep penetration missions over Germany.
After the war he had a successful career in the direct mail catalog industry. He finished his career as CEO and President of the Spiegel Catalog Company.
