    Conducted in-depth analyses of sonic boom phenomenon for the USAF at W-P AFB. Assessed the implications of supersonic over-flight on public safety 1962-64. Selected as one of Top 10 Engineers in Dayton 1963.
    Served as the USAF representative to the National Academy of Science Commission on National SST Program, appointed by President Lyndon Johnson 1963-65. Awarded the Air Force System Command (AFSC) Certificate of Merit 1965.
    Served as the USAF Project Engineer for the Lightweight Fighter Prototype Program (General Dynamics YF-16 and Northrop YF-17) 1970-72. Continued as the USAF Chief System Engineer for the F-16 System Program Office which transitioned the F-16 Fighting Falcon through full-scale development and into production 1973-75. Awarded the AFSC Certificate of Merit 1975.
    Served as Chairman of the Certification Panel for the U. S. Departments Transportation Commission on Commercial Aircraft Crew Complement (2-Person vs. 3-Person Cockpit Crew) appointed by President Ronald Reagan 1980. Awarded the AFSC Certificate of Merit 1981.
    Served as Technical Director and Manager of System Engineering on stealth fighter aircraft and stealth tactical cruise missile programs for Northrop Aircraft Division 1982-94. Several awards for excellence.
