Herbert L. Brubaker was born August 14, 1926, to Wilfred and Mabel Brubaker (of Mishawaka and South Bend, IN.), and died July 8, 1995.  He had a brother, John, and a sister, Carol.  He was an avid pilot who learned to fly while in the military.  He was especially partial to V-tail Bonanzas.  He was married to Phyllis (Epperson) Brubaker and had two daughters: Susan and Lee Ann.  He was one of the founders of an airport in Indiana called the Mishawaka Pilot’s Club, which still exists to this day.  As a business man he started several successful businesses in the plastic mold making industry in Mishawaka, Indiana.  Flying was his passion and love.
