The heritage Middle School Astronaut Club members meet every Friday after school from 3-4 PM from September through June. Young men and young women, ages 11-14 (grades6-8) are represented!
Activities we are involved with include rocket building with launchers, space-related movies, and educational aviation-related videos, games, celebrations, and field trips connecting aviation and space exploration.
Attendance in our club is a requirement, along with officers such as elected president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, social director, and chancellor of rocketry. Our club to date (2000) has a six-year history.
