After a year with Porterfield Engineering and Manufacturing Company, I entered the world of aviation as a stress analyst at the Glenn L. Martin Company in January 1938.
Progressing through technical and management positions, I retired from the Martin Marietta Corporation in December 1977 as Vice President Research and Technology.
