Through my career I had the opportunity to meet Charles Lindbergh, Alan Sheppard and John Glenn.
I went to College with the plan to design rocket engines for NASA. After graduation from College the United States was involved in the war in Vietnam. I joined the Marine Corps and flew on many gunships and off a carrier.
After active duty I went into the Reserves and rose to the rank of Major. I went back to school and graduated from several colleges and went to law school.
I held many political positions as well as an elected position.
Through my political career, I was always a strong supporter of NASA and the Space Program.
