Marshall Beam Wright was born on Feb. 6, 1964. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. George F. Wright lived on the Duke of Glouscester Street in Colonial Williamsburg, VA. After graduating from Columbia University, New York, in 1986, Marshall entered the Banking profession; first as a Treasurer in the Bank of New York, and later as a Vice President in the Personal Banking Division of the J.P. Morgan - Chase Bank of New York. Marshall resigned his position at the Bank in 2008, and returned to his home in Williamsburg, VA. Marshall was an avid reader of history books, and he loved animals. His unexpected/untimely death on September 10, 2009 has been a severe loss to the Banking profession and the country at large. His "giant" footsteps will be hard to fill!
