One of the first three people to help develop the chemical milling process. As a materials and process engineer working for Northrop Aircraft, he helped to integrate the process into production. This was done so successfully that Muller became one of perhaps six men in the US that were well known experts. Muller wrote the process manual, the design manual and a number of articles/papers on chemical milling.
