    KC 135 pilot, US Air Force, 1975 to 1995. Also an Aerospace Physiology instructor, who became Assistant Chief of Aerospace Physiology for the USAF and a special consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General. Nationally honored by the Aerospace Medical Association as Aerospace Physiologist of the Year for 1994. After retiring from the military at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, DC in 1995, Hugo was hired as a pilot by Northwest Airlines. He has flown the Boeing 727 and Airbus A320 as a First Office, and as a Captain of the DC9. Married to the wondrous beauty, the former Lisa Bronelmeier, he is the father of six children, laurel, David, lisa, Deanna, Linda and William.
