    Ian Redpath Roberts took his first flight when he was six months old. He went to the retirement celebration for his grandfather, Donald R. Redpath, which ended a 41-year career in the aviation industry. Ian’s love for aviation carries on a family tradition of private pilots which has included his grandfather, his uncle, Ronald R. Redpath, and his great-uncle, Joseph Marzlack. Ian soloed at sixteen years old and received his private pilot license before he graduated high school. He will be a freshman at the University of Florida in the fall of 2000 majoring in aerospace engineering.
