The Iowa Office of Aviation is the lead agency in assuring a healthy air transportation system for Iowa. Emphasis is placed on advocacy, partnership building and air-related economic development. In coordination with airports and aviation associations, the Office staff delivers safety, funding, and airport improvement programs. The Office of Aviation also is instrumental in marketing Iowa's air transportation system locally and nationally.
