Jack was born in 1923 in Cardwell, Mo. Died 2001 in Springfield, Mo. Jack served in the Navy from 1939 to the end of WW II. He was in the bombing of Pearl Harbor. He served at Pearl as a Navy Corpsman. After the war he learned to fly at Kennett, Mo in 1945, and flew for the next 53 years. Jack owned a number of aircraft, and built one amateur Bilt aircraft. He was a member of the Ozarks Grasshopper SQDN, the EAA, and the Antique Aircraft Association
