Jake was 10 years old when he lay in the grass and saw the Blue Angels fly for the first time. He made the prophetic announcement "I'm gonna fly with the eagles". All through high school, he always got a far away look in this eyes when he looked to the skies. At his first flight, he told everyone that he had "touched the heavens". His college days as an aeronautical science major were cut short with the 911 bombings. He left college and joined the US Air force to defend our country. He still looks to the skies every time a plane comes into view with the same love of flight in his eyes. "Flying with the eagles" never leaves the soul of a true pilot.
