    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

Airplanes and space have fascinated me since childhood. Earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Cal Poly, Pomona, CA in 1991 allowed me to not only pursue my dreams but also become part of history. As a student engineer while in college I worked for Hughes Aircraft for 2-1/2 years on the B-2 stealth bomber cockpit trainers.

Upon college graduation I accepted a job with Northrop (now Northrop Grumman) working on the B-2 stealth bomber flight control systems. For 6-1/2 years I was on the hardware/software integration test team and also participated in system designs and flight test.

After the B-2 work with Northrop Grumman I accepted a job with the Boeing Company working on the International Space Station's guidance, navigation, and controls. For 5 years I was on the hardware/software integration test team, travelling frequently to Houston, Texas Johnson Space Center and Cape Canaveral, Florida Kennedy Space Center working with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and verifying checkout of flight components (mostly the Z1 truss with four control moment gyros) before being launched into orbit. Still with Boeing I am currently (2004) working on a classified program. I am excited and looking forward to working on future programs.
