Mr Anderson has had a lifelong love of aviation and space exploration. His dream was to be a professional pilot but eyesight prevented this goal being reached, though he has achieved over 1,000 hours of flying time with private lessons.
He has been a dedicated member of the National Air and Space Museum. Upon his 40th birthday on April 18, 2004 he would be highly honored to know that this donation to the Wall of Honor was made in his name.
