    First exposure to Aviation: Standing next to a tire of a B-52 bomber at K.I. Sawyer AFB in Michigan's Upper Peninsula as a 4-year old.

    First Flight: 1962 in a private 4 passenger plane - right seat!

    Aviation interest: • Always wanted to be a pilot
    • Nominated by both a Michigan state Senator and Local District Representative for admission to the U.S. Naval Academy. My desire was to be a navy Pilot, but chose to remain at the University of Michigan instead.
    • Treasurer of Michigan Flyers, the University of Michigan flying club in 1978
    • Member of Aircraft owners and pilots Association since 1980
