James E. Murphy, deceased 1982, was a civilian government employee of the U. S. Air Force, who retired after 30 years of service as an Electrical Engineer. During his career, he served on the inspection team for President Kennedy’s “Air Force One,” and served as Plant Representative at Boeing at Renton, WA. And Boeing field in Seattle, WA. He ended his career as an engineer on the KC-135 Air Refueling Tanker Project at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma.
