Born 1921. 5 years experience in the Army Air Corps during World War II (WWII). Flew 35 missions as a B-17 commander over Germany. Purple Heart, Air Medals, three theater ribbons.
Joined United Airlines as pilot in January, 1952 and retired as a DC-10 Captain in December 1981.
