Entered USAF August 21, 1951. Trained as A B-29 gunner. Was accepted to pilot training aviation cadet graduated 54J 1954. Assigned to F-86s Clovis New Mexico. 48th FBW Chaumont France 1955-1957. Flew F-100 1956-1957.
Flew C-119 March AFB 1962. One of first classes to fly C-141 1968 Norton AFB. Worde for American Airlines 27 years. Flew as Flt Test Pilot at Tulsa Center. Rated in MD80, DC-10, 727, 767, 757 747. Was a second generation black pilot. One of the first in training in the integrated USAF. After leaving active duty received BS Degree in in A/C Maintenance Engineering.
