Mr. Sando holds a Masters Degree in Education and has been teaching for over 20 years. He has been on the board of a number of local and state organizations and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Wissahickon United and the Pennsylvania State Education Association. In addition, Mr. Sando has served as an advisor to the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency, on the Paul Douglas & Robert C. Byrd Honors Selection Committee as well as a member of the Selection Committee for the Christa McAuliffe Fellowship. Mr. Sando has been a recent participant in a NASA Program for Educators at Langley Aerospace Research Center.
