I worked as a member of the team that built the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. I was the mechanical contractor – project manager from the start of construction until January 4, 2002, at which time I was recalled to active military status from reserve status to combat terrorism overseas in the wake of the September 11th attacks. I returned home September 9th, 2002.
