James R. Michaels graduated from USAF pilot training with Class 53-B, March 16th, 1953. Flew F-86 Sabre Jet with 4th Fighter Wing, Kimpo AB Korea from October 1953 to November 1954. Separated from USAF February 1966 to go with American Airlines. Completed AF retirement in U.S. Air Force Reserves, retiring in 1974. Completed 25 years with American Airlines, retiring in 1990. Two wonderful careers flying great airplanes!
