Honored by:

I joined the US Army Air Corps in the Fall.1943 and entered combat in Italy with the 15th AAF, 765lh Sq., 461st Bomb Group. Flew 29 missions with the 461st B. G. over seven countries. Flew from Torretta Field, near Cerignola, Italy all of 1944 and returned home March, 1945. Awarded Distinguished Flying Cross. Still active in my 461st Group reunions.
